We're so psyched to be introducing the GTA Boulder League beginning July 10th This multi-week bouldering comp is held, in part, at J2 for the first four weeks. Junction members hoping to participate will receive a dual membership to Junction and J2 during this time for no additional cost outside of their regular Junction membership rate and the $22.50 for the comp.

The GTA Boulder League is for climbers of all levels and abilities who compete in teams of three (any gender) in Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. Teams that have a variety of genders or have an individual(s) on their team that is in a category above their typical ability, will receive a 15% scoring bonus each week. For example, if a team has two Advanced members and one Beginner, the entire team competes in Advanced but receives +15% because of their beginner member.

Each week, the boulder here will be reset and the problems will be numbered. Teams will come in together throughout the week and can attempt the problems as many times as they'd like until the next reset goes up the following Monday. There will be four total weeks of four unique resets. At the end of each week, the top three sends from each climber are added together to form their team's total score. At the end of the four weeks, two teams in each category qualify for the invitational at True North in Toronto on August 20th.

Start thinking about who you want to compete with and come up with a creative team name! We've heard word that extra creative team names may have something special awaiting them in the finals at True North.
